This is a session where I teach you how to tuft your own rug. Everything included. Price is for use of 2ft x 2ft frame, tufting gun, yarn, glue, backing and trim. Rug Tufting Workshop Express your imagination and learn to tuft your own rug with me!!! 4 - 5 hours (day 1) 1 to 2 hours (day 2, if you decide to trim and back yourself) Class size 12 Learn how to make your own tufted rug! Try this hands-on craft class! In this tufting class, you'll have a chance to select from a range of yarns, (you can bring your own yarn if you want) to create your own rug. You have the option to show off your artistic skills and draw your design straight onto the fabric, order a custom image by me, or use a projector to trace your favorite image! Beginning of class, you will first draw or trace your image onto your cloth. Then you will learn how to use a tufting gun and create beautiful textile art in just one lesson. You'll also learn how a cut pile looks, how to glue, trim, and back your rug. At the end of the workshop, you will come away with real tufting skills. You have an option of coming back and finishing your rug after it has been glued. If you cannot, we will back your rug for you and trim. You can pick up once we notify you of its completion. If you would like your rug to be shipped, that will be discussed. Whether you want a new tufting hobby, are looking for fun date night ideas, make a gift for someone, or want to add some DIY home decor to your space; this class if for you! Knowledge required This workshop is open to ages 10 and up, beginner friendly, no prior experience needed! What you'll get Learn how to tuft a rug made by you from start to finish!!
